Thangka art is celebrated by many Buddhist devotees, but its images have found new canvasses in the recent decades, as a growing number of people have embraced dharma tattoos.  Built on Respect has created a series of private classes for some of the world’s top tattoo artists, pairing them with a Tibetan thangka master, so the traditional art can be properly translated, and the ancient skills can be passed on to these talented artists – helping it to gain a broader awareness in popular culture.
