East Meets West

My thangka teacher  just completed the Je Tsongkhapa thangka for the Tibet House. The SOLO Foundation, which oversees Built On Respect purchased it for this event:

Geshela and I completed his Rowell Fund application today as well, and got it uploaded.

My friend Chin will be here mid-October, I’m looking forward to seeing him again! If you haven’t seen the interview I did with him in March, you can watch it here.

Tomorrow, many of the NGOs here in town are organizing a petition-signing to Hu Jin Tao in the main square; there will be a candle light vigil tomorrow night.

I’ll be taking pictures and probably video.

I just wanted to give a quick update. For some reason I woke up with a migraine today, and have not been able to shake it — so I’m calling it an early night.
